Who the paid case is for
Appeal rules depend on where your insurance comes from. We prepare packets for the plan types whose rules we have built and checked. For the others, the decoder and free help are the better fit today.

Not sure which plan you have?
The decoder reads it from your letter. You confirm your plan type before you pay, so you never pay for a case we cannot prepare.
What you do not pay for
No subscription
One payment per case. Nothing renews, and there is no card on file charging you later.
No share of your savings
If your plan pays or a bill comes down, all of that money is yours. We take no percentage.
No charge for reminders
Deadline emails and the calendar file come free with any saved result, the decoder included. Reminders stay off until you turn them on.
No charge to delete
Delete a case or your whole account with one button, at any time. It costs nothing.
No marketing email
Marketing email is off unless you turn it on. Deadline reminders are the only email you get by default.
No account to decode
The decoder is free and needs no account. You only sign up when you choose to start a case.
You send the packet yourself, so any postage or fax cost is yours. We do not mail or fax for you.
Refunds: tied to the packet, never to the outcome
Two things earn a full refund. Neither depends on what your plan decides.
A full refund if the packet is incomplete or a deadline is wrong
If the packet we prepare is incomplete for your plan type, or a deadline we worked out for you is wrong, you get all of your money back.
Never tied to what your plan decides
A refund does not depend on whether your plan says yes or no. No one can promise how a plan will decide, so we do not price on it.
Still to decide before launch: how to ask for a refund, how long you have to ask, and how refunds work for the $30 bill audit add-on.
Questions about paying
Do I have to pay to find out my deadline?
No. The free decoder tells you why the claim was denied, your plan type, your deadline and your next step. You do not need an account for it.
When do I pay?
After you upload your documents and confirm your plan type and deadline, and before the evidence checklist and letters. You see your route and deadline first, so you can decide whether you want the packet.
What counts as one case?
One case covers one denied claim, from the denial letter or EOB (Explanation of Benefits, the statement your plan sends) you upload. If you have more than one denial, each one is its own case.
Can I add the bill audit later?
Yes. If you start with the $49 appeal case, you can add the bill audit from your case at any time for $30. That brings the total to $79, the same as buying both at the start.
What if my plan says no to the appeal?
Your case shows the next step, usually an external review by an independent reviewer, how to ask for it and by when. Your reminders keep running. There is nothing more to pay for that.
Do you take a cut if my plan pays or my bill goes down?
No. You pay the case price once. Any money your plan pays, or any amount taken off a bill, stays with you.
Can I get a refund if my appeal is denied?
Refunds depend on the packet, not the outcome. If the packet is incomplete for your plan type, or a deadline we worked out is wrong, you get a full refund. If the packet is complete and your plan still says no, there is no refund.
How do I pay, and do you keep my card?
You pay once by card through Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe handles your card details. We do not store your card number, and nothing is charged again later.
Free help exists. Why would I pay?
You might not need to. Many states run a free consumer assistance program for insurance problems, and we point you to it in every result. Some people prefer to work at their own pace, any time of day, with a packet they can edit and keep. That is what the paid case is for.
See your deadline first. Decide after.
The decoder is free, and you do not need an account. You only pay if you want us to prepare the packet.
